Newsletters are prepared and distributed quarterly via email. They are repeated, here on this very website, so you can enjoy them wherever and whenever you can get online. This can be useful if you do not have an email address and only access a computer at work or a library.
It appears that newsletters first appeared in 1538 but not ours - Bob isn’t that old. One of the first known newsletters was distributed in England in 1631 featuring happenings of locals overseas - today we would call them tourists.
